ICC World Cup Record Corner

• Kenya's greatest achievement to date is reaching the semi-final of the ICC CWC 2003.
• In that event it defeated former world champions Sri Lanka by 53 runs, eventually losing the semi-final to India by 91 runs.
• Kenya also achieved arguably the greatest shock in ICC CWC history when it defeated the West Indies by 73 runs in 1996.
• It has the best ICC CWC win percentage ratio of all Associates, winning 27.27% of its matches (it has a better record than Full Members Bangladesh and Zimbabwe).
• Maurice Odumbe and Alpesh Vadher hold the sixth wicket record partnership in ICC CWC history - the stand was 161 against Sri Lanka in 1999.
• It qualified for the 2011 event after finishing fourth at the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier in 2009.
