ICC World Cup Record Corner

• The Netherlands has competed in three previous editions of the event.
• It has never beaten an ICC Full Member country at the ICC CWC, although it has recorded wins over Namibia and Scotland.
• It qualified for the 2011 event after finishing third at the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier in 2009.
• Only two Dutch players have made centuries in an ICC CWC – Klaas-Jan Van Noortwijk and Feiko Kloppenburg – and both scored them in the same game (against Namibia in 2003).
• Their partnership of 228 in achieving this feat is the fifth highest in ICC CWC history.
• When Nolan Clarke played against South Africa at the ICC CWC 1996 he was 47 years and 257 days old, making him the oldest player in ICC CWC history.
• Daan van Bunge became the first bowler to be hit for six sixes in an over at the ICC CWC when Herschelle Gibbs achieved this feat in 2007.
