ICC World Cup Record Corner

• It has won two ICC CWC titles to date – in 1975 and 1979.
• Brian Lara is third on the all-time list of ICC CWC run scorers – he scored 1225 runs in his career.
• Viv Richards’ 181 against Sri Lanka in 1987 is the third highest ICC CWC score of all time.
• Clive Lloyd became the first player to hit a century in an ICC CWC Final when he achieved this feat in 1975 – his 102 was the only ODI century of his career.
• The West Indies hold two ICC CWC partnership records – ironically it lost both the games in which these were achieved.
• Ramnaresh Sarwan and Ridley Jacobs hold the record seventh wicket partnership stand – they made 98 against New Zealand at the ICC CWC 2003.
• Andy Roberts and Joel Garner hold the record tenth wicket partnership stand – they made 71 against India at the ICC CWC 1983.
